We attended two of your concerts in 2003, one at Bellarmine and one Friday night at St. Francis of Assisi. We were already big-enough fans of Mike Schroeder through Hog Operation, but have been absolutely blown away by the enormous talent of the Mandolin Orchestra. Gary's still talking about Holly's "Deep River"; and, other highlights were Mike's Konzert fur Mandoline and Billie Bradford's Prelude. Well, it was just all exceptional! We would love to attend more concerts and would appreciate being added to your email notification list as we might miss an announcement in the C-J. The Louisville/Southern Indiana area is mighty blessed to have you. Warm regards, Suzanne Coleman

Recently, I attended one of the concerts of the LMO and was truly impressed. It was a most enjoyable evening of great music. Hopefully, more and more people will get to have such a great experience.

Glad to know that classical mandolin playing still exists. My father was one of the Gibsonians of Grand Rapids Mi. I play a mandolin that I made myself bluegrass style. Keep up the good work.

Hi, I have no previous experience with stringed instruments, but I have a burning desire to learn to play the Cavaquinho and sit on a Brasilian beach playing a lazy samba in the evening breeze. Can you help? Obrigado!

I'm interested in joining your ensemble. I went to U of L and know Jim Bates. I've played guitar for many years and just bought a mandolin - which I've wanted to play for a long time. I was a horn major in college - that might jar your memory. Please email with a reply. Thanks, Bob
