Hi, I saw another luthier signed in at this site. I would like to add our name, and URL. I am only the wife of lutheir, Dave Dart, http://www.luthier.com/ Dave's reputation lately is for Hawaiian Steel guitars, but Dave also makes Mandolins, Mandolas, Octave Mandolins, etc. and is extremely knowledable about all instruments. Dave has made everything, including saz for Dave Lindley and lute for early music lovers. Mr. Dart will be making a run of Octave Mandos in both A and F style early this spring. I realize this sounds like shameless promotion, but Dave is open to questions and sharing knowledge, at ddart@pacific.net Happy Holdiay, pj dart

Dear friends from LMO, I am not sure if somebody from the this time LMO still remembers me. I have been in Louisville three times ( two Conventions and a concert tour with State Youth Orchestra from Hesse/Germany) and the LMO have been in Germany, guests from my orchestra in Dudenhofen. I hope LMO is still an active and successful group and we will have a chance to meet one another this year in Philadelphia? Hi, Mike, I hope so! BDZ has another "Bundesmusikfest" in 2006 in Muelheim. Who would like to attend? Gisela Hessian Plucked String Orchestra Germany

I have Mandoscapes, it is a wonderful album. I play the Mandolin and would love to play some of the pieces on the prior mentioned album. I have been unable to locate any of them (with the exception of Santa Lucia). Please help, I am dying to have the rest! Also, any Mandolin players in SW Indiana who want to play in a small group in the area e-mail me!
