I sat out in the rain to see/listen to you at the GABBF in Danville yesterday. It was definitely worth it. It gave me more ideas to work on my playing. I started learning to play mandolin while in the intensive care ward after having a heart attack, and before having my bypass surgery. It kept my mind off of the other things that were going on. I have kept on playing every day since then, and I have to tell you that music does have healing powers. At the GABBF I bought your CD, and I have played along with it. I think it might become one of my favorite CDs. Keep up the good work, and I hope to see you again soon.

Hi Mike, Jim and other LMO-heads. It's been a few years - I'm really glad you guys are still together and growing. Congratulations on the CD and a great web page. We got a computer here in Ireland, and I immediately jumped on my donkey and rode the 50 miles (uphill both ways). I found your page, and had to say hello. Best of luck for the future. See you if I get there, or you get here. Brendan.

Hello members of the Louisvill Mandolin Orchestra members ! Do you remember the french festival in Remiremont France ? I'm a member of the Club of mandolines. And your orchestra left me a very good remember of this festival. I'm happy to know that mandolin is a international instrument... Does Marshall Shelor remember the french family who receive him a night ? It was at my home and I remember very well his guitar... Let's share our hobby. Bye !

I've been playing the mandolin for about 3 months. The Lord has blessed me so far. He has given me the mandolin and is giving me the time to practice. With the help of the Lord, I'll play for Him.

Ever heard of a Marius banjo-mandolin? Well, I have two of them, but only one is playable. Also I am playing Mandocello, tuned in CGDA. I can't get much information here in Holland, so I just surfed in. Links to Europian sites are always welcome.
