Even though we are a relatively young mandolin orchestra, numerous mandolin orchestras have come and gone in the Louisville, Kentucky area since before the turn of the century. Robin Harris presents our early history and reveals how the LMO grew quickly from local, to national, and then on to international prominence since our founding in 1988.
